With many years of experience between Drs. Elizabeth Pagano and Rick Florez, this husband and wife team have dedicated themselves to helping people achieve their optimal health potential, naturally. They met at The Pennsylvania State University in 1998 and have been proud Nittany Lions ever since! After Chiropractic studies, and operating a Chiropractic office in Spartanburg, SC (Café of Life), they moved to Raleigh in November of 2007. They opened the Chiropractic Cafe in early 2008, and have since enjoyed serving the Greater Raleigh area.
Drs. Elizabeth and Rick display a holistic approach to life and living, and believe that everyone should have the opportunity to be happy and healthy. They feel that true healing comes from within and cannot be achieved by an outside-in approach.
When not in the office, you will probably find Dr. Elizabeth running the non-profit organization she started - the nOg Run Club, doing CrossFit, out on the road running, or scuba diving somewhere! Elizabeth has completed the rare feat of running at least one half marathon in every state in the US!
Dr. Rick has played soccer his entire life, even as a member of the Penn State soccer team for several seasons while in college. He occasionally still plays soccer recreationally in Raleigh, has been a regular CrossFitter since 2008, and also partakes in running and scuba diving. With his active lifestyle, he enjoys working with athletes of all levels, helping them to function at their best for all levels of competition.
When you visit the Cafe, you will also be warmly greeted by their office assistant (dog), Chase. He was rescued from the Harnett County Animal Shelter in the Fall of 2011, was fostered for several months, and then he turned around and rescued Elizabeth and Rick in February of 2012! He is a peaceful soul and will be happy to make your acquaintance when you arrive!
Drs. Elizabeth, Rick, and Chase look forward to meeting and assisting you on your journey for health.
